Even before we were conceived, God had a plan and a mission for us.
Psalms 139:13-16 shows us that God was involved in our physical and emotional formation for His glory.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
Acts17 shows us that we were uniquely placed by God in our current habitations in God’s predetermined plan for us. The boundaries of our habitations and the allotted ties of our lives were set by God. The purpose is to seek him, reach out to him and find him.
26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
Man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy His presence. For fulfillment, purpose and meaning in life comes in knowing God, loving and honoring him.
We were created and born in our current unique habitations so that we can serve God’s purpose in our generation.
Acts 13:36: Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep……..
