Man can never be there (zenith of life) because after he gets there, it become here and another there awaits him.
The endless rut/pattern continues, always toiling – meaningless – looking for meaning and purpose for life, looking for something new – but nothing is new under the sun – nothing can satisfy and give meaning for life under the sun – only the shalom of God through Christ (perfect peace) that was lost in Eden.
Only that shalom can fill the vacuum in a man’s heart – wealth, fame & power can’t. Without knowing, man is looking for this shalom; without knowing, what man is looking for in his endless toils is going back to Eden.
