She started screaming out of fear.<\/p>\n<p>With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.<\/p>\n<p>Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.<\/p>\n<p>The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away, but it landed on another lady in the group.<\/p>\n<p>Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.<\/p>\n<p>The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.<\/p>\n<p>In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.<\/p>\n<p>The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt.<\/p>\n<p>When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts, and started wondering; was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior?<\/p>\n<p>If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?<\/p>\n<p>He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.<\/p>\n<p>It is not the cockroach, but the inability of those people to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach, that disturbed the ladies.<\/p>\n<p>I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it&#8217;s my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.<\/p>\n<p>More than the problem, it&#8217;s my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.<\/p>\n<p>Lessons learnt from the story:<\/p>\n<p>I should not react in life,<br \/>\nI should always respond<\/p>\n<p>The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.<\/p>\n<p>Reactions are always instinctive, whereas responses are always well thought out<\/p>\n<p>A beautiful way to understand LIFE.<\/p>\n<p>A Person who is HAPPY is happy not because<br \/>\nEverything is RIGHT in his Life&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>He is HAPPY because his Attitude towards Everything in his Life is Right!<\/p>\n<p>RESPOND TO ISSUES DON&#8217;T REACT, and keep winning.<\/p>\n<p>THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS NOT WHAT HAPPENS OUTSIDE YOU,BUT WHAT HAPPENS INSIDE YOU.<br \/>\nLife has PRESSURES ,what you need is inner PEACE.<br \/>\nWe are going through times of Anxiety and Panic but WORRY IS A CHOICE AND BELIEVING IS A CHOOSE,remember Jesus told Jairus,do not worry ,just believe.God told the Israelites when they were facing the red sea and the Egyptian army,&#8221;Be still and you will see the Salvation of God.&#8221;<br \/>\nYou cannot Choose your Circumstances but you can Choose your Reactions,that is in your Control<\/p>\n<p>Be Still and kill your cockroach.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BE STILL AND KILL THE COCKROACH. &#8220;The cockroach management theory for self development&#8221; At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and landed on a lady.
