{"id":2321,"date":"2023-12-29T11:31:46","date_gmt":"2023-12-29T11:31:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.giveasmiletoday.org\/?p=2321"},"modified":"2023-12-29T11:31:46","modified_gmt":"2023-12-29T11:31:46","slug":"give-careful-thoughts-to-your-ways-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.giveasmiletoday.org\/?p=2321","title":{"rendered":"Give Careful Thoughts to Your Ways &#8211; Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">**Non Thoughtful Act by David and the Priests**<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2 Samuel 6 and 1 Chronicles 13<\/strong> &#8211; The Ark of the Covenant was brought to Jerusalem<\/p>\n<p>The action of carrying God&#8217;s ark of covenant on an ox like the philistines was done with <strong>ASSUMPTION<\/strong>, by not seeking God&#8217;s will, and this brought punishment.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">2 Samuel 6 Shows what went wrong<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>v3 &#8211; It was carried on a cart and guided by non levites or priests.<\/p>\n<p>v5 &#8211; Celebration were on going and everything was looking okay.<\/p>\n<p>v6-8 &#8211; When the ox stumbled and the ark was about to fall, Uzzah tried to prevent it from falling and immediately he died because of an <strong>IRREVERENT<\/strong> act.<\/p>\n<p>**The Ark of the Covenant represented God&#8217;s presence with his people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leviticus 16:2<\/strong> shows that it was to stay in the Holy of Holies, and when it moved it was to be covered and protected by 3 layers of cloth (<strong>Numbers 4:5-6, 15 18-20<\/strong>), and only the Levites were to carry it.
